I want to get updated info and pricing for myself and to share
with friends who are interested. I never bought the pad for my
sauna, and I hope to do that sometime when I can.
I still use my sauna every day and absolutely LOVE IT. As long
as I sauna regularly, I have no pain or symptoms of arthritis
in my knees. Last year during the holiday season, I stored the
sauna and didn't use it for a couple of months. Of course, my
arthritis came back, but resuming the daily use of my sauna quickly
eliminated it again.
Last year I developed Diabetes, and that really slowed my weight
loss efforts down for a while. (I've lost 30 lbs. so far.) It
took me a while to sift through many schools of thought about
treatment and diet, but I now have a plan that is working. Not
for even one second did I believe that I would have Diabetes
and be on medication the rest of my life. From day one, I have
said that I would beat this, and I am getting better all the
time. I've already been able to eliminate the twice daily injections
of Byetta and am down to just one Metformin pill in the evening.
By the end of this year I expect to be off all medication and
have no symptoms of Diabetes. I will be "healed" if
not "cured", just like my arthritis.
In order to accomplish this, I have chosen a fairly low carb
(not to the Atkins level) and low fat diet that has really helped
me start losing weight again. I expect to be back to a size 8
by the end of this year, and this alone will help me eliminate
the insulin resistance portion of Diabetes. Using the sauna every
day is such a wonderful help with the weight loss because it
burns calories, naturally boosts metabolism, and releases the
nasty toxins trapped in fat cells.
I look forward to my sauna time because the soothing heat is
so relaxing, and it is the perfect time to pray and meditate.
In today's hectic world, there is almost no quiet time for reflection
... we have gotten used to playing the radio while driving and
have the TV on while we are at home. Using the sauna is the perfect
opportunity to press the "pause" button for 30 minutes.
In the silence, as I pray and meditate, I am blessed with insights
and wisdom.

Lupus and Autoimmune Vasculitis
Dear Ian,
I want to thank you for your patience and customer service in
my purchase of the Signature 3. You are right - it is amazing, and
has been a terrific addition to our home.
I called various other sauna manufacturers and their customer
service representatives were not knowledgeable in their products,
not willing to get answers to questions asked, and didn't follow
up with me as promised. Certainly they did not take the time to
"know" me as you did - and remember the "little things" about me,
like my $500.00 rule. Your professionalism mixed with personality,
combined with your deep knowledge of the products of Sunlight Saunas
cinched the deal.
As you know, I have Lupus and autoimmune vasculitis. Before the
sauna arrived, I couldn't close my fist without pain (and really,
couldn't get it completely closed at all), due to inflammation
and joint pain. After two weeks of daily use, I could close my
hand completely without pain. I bruise easily, and before the sauna,
bruises would last for months; after the sauna, they start to recede
after about a week. My skin looks better - even my laugh lines
are "gone"! My flare ups have been lessened, and for the first
time, my doctor (on this past Friday's visit) didn't want to "up"
my meds, because my pain is now under control. The improvements
have not been only physical - my stress levels are down on the
days I use the sauna. I am given that peaceful quiet time, either
reading or just relaxing in the sauna. The heat is so soothing
and calming... well, that "calm" carries over into my entire day.
I have referred Sunlight Saunas (and you in particular) to many
friends and to a Lupus support group that has an online bulletin
board. I hope, for their sakes, that they call.
Even barring illness, I believe that every household should have
a Sunlight Sauna in it. The benefits are amazing, and the difference
in my everyday life is obvious to everyone around me.

Dear Connie,
We have had our Signature 3 since July of this year. We absolutely
love it. Our customers are already falling in love with it. They
tell us their skin is softer and also those with complexion trouble
spots are seeing improvement. Of course, many of our ladies love
the burning the extra calories after their workouts. I have arthritis
and it helps me reduce the stiffness. Many of us are finding
that we are more relaxed after using it. We are glad that we

Hi David!
Well, here we are standing in front of our most prized possession
- The Incredible and amazing Sunlight Sauna we purchased from
you some 6 months ago. We love this totally natural mechanism
for detoxification and relish in the fact that each drop of polluted
sweat leaving our bodies brings us both one step closer to the
true health we both deserve.
I cannot even begin to express my gratitude to both you and
Mr. Jeffers as this is a very crucial weapon in our arsenal
to help Phylis safely & effectively rid her body and brain
of the remaining mercury load which drove her into early
onset Alzheimer's disease at the early age of 45 years. (She
is 48 years old right now and as you can see, she looks all of
25!)
Thus far, we have completed about 60 sessions in the sauna.
(We do one 30 - 35 minute session every other day.) I have never
felt better in my life. Each time we emerge from the sauna after
a session, the rejuvenating effect is entirely present and all
encompassing! I'm sure it is pulling the mercury load certainly and
safely from my wife who was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's one
year ago - caused by her mercury amalgam fillings and poor APOe
Lipoprotein genotype status.
You folks will no doubt be mentioned in the book I am writing
on this whole ordeal. It truly appears we have stopped the progression
of the Alzheimer's (The mercury's destructive march through her
body and brain) and the next 6 months will finally be the
light at the end of the tunnel if her MRI in December shows no
further atrophy. If this is the case, it will mean the MRI’s
done over a 1 1/2 year period show no further atrophy of the
brain since the initial MRI in July of 2004.
Between the Sunlight Saunas infrared sauna therapy,
D'Adamo blood type diet, and a good exercise program, the
possibilities for good health are pretty much without limit.
I just got back my blood work numbers from my Doctor this morning
and my profile is way better than it was back in 2001!!!
Bottom line David - If everyone knew what I know in my heart,
there would be one of these in every home in the World! We'll
keep you updated on Phylis's progress as we continue the fight
to rid her of the mercury and halt the progression of the
Alzheimer's.

Dear Kathryn,
Having never been a smoker, you can imagine my shock when diagnosed with advanced emphysema in May, 2005. The disease process had been advancing for 15 years and had damaged 50% of each lung. As a long term, 30 year, prednisone user due to asthma and allergies, breathing had become increasingly more difficult and the ability to engage in physical activity was substantially reduced. As a result of the increased damage to muscles, joints and connective tissue which resulted in a total right hip replacement, pain levels were becoming unmanageable without pain medications and my body’s demand for increasingly higher doses of prednisone was ever present. In September, 2005, I purchase the Sunlight Far Infrared Sauna. A program of sauna use every other day was initiated. Along with a hydration and mineral replacement program, I slowly increased treatment time and temperature. By November, my routine consisted of entering the sauna at 109o and going up to 120o for a total treatment time of at least 20-30 minutes. My doctor was persistent concerning administering the flu shot, and I staunchly refused believing that a combination of the viral elimination potential of the sauna and a homeopathic protocol would keep me healthy throughout the flu season. For the first time in many years, I was healthy throughout the winter; neither cold nor flu infected me. Pain levels had been reduced and muscles felt stronger. In January, 2006 I began an exercise program of two 45-minute workouts per week. Definitely a first for me! I would use the sauna after each workout and could feel muscles and tendons relaxing and improving. At the end of an 18-week exercise program, my speed and stamina on the tread mill had doubled.
Almost afraid to believe that any improvement in my lung condition was possible, the doctors indicated that this was an irreversible condition, I went to my one-year follow-up appointment. All the appropriate lung functions tests were administered and I awaited the doctor’s entry into the exam room. He had a rather perplexed look on his face when he said, “One year ago your lung function was in very serious degeneration. At that time you had only 29% of normal lung function. I’m looking at your test results, and this never happens. You now are functioning at 60% capacity and your lung volume has doubled. Keep doing whatever you are doing.”
Kathyrn, I cannot thank you enough for introducing me to the far infrared sauna! The ability of the sauna to rebuild collagen, connective tissue and muscle and to relieve pain had been a blessing to me. My world, before beginning the therapeutic protocol, was becoming smaller and smaller as my ability to move about and breathe decreased. Today, a whole new, brighter future is present. I am looking forward to more tissue recovery and more vibrant health as I continue the protocol. I am a naturopath and a homeopath, familiar with alternative procedures. I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for all you've done in helping us establish Sunlight Saunas™ in our three Ladies Workout Express locations. Not only has it become a selling point for new members, but our current members are realizing the benefits as well.
Many of our members use the Solo® Bed for the pure joy of relaxation and to rid themselves of their daily stress. They take an additional 30 minutes out of their busy schedules to just get away and relax and they love it. We also have members who have medical reasons for using it, such as fibromyalgia and arthritis. The addition of the Sunlight Sauna to our clubs has become one more reason for women to join Ladies Workout Express and has set us apart from our competition that much more.
The Sunlight Sauna is an investment we will gladly make again when we open another club. The idea you gave us to sell $20 a week unlimited passes has really taken off.
