Over the last thirty five plus years of practice I have seen an ever increasing number of patients with Multiple Chemical Sensitivity Syndrome and other health problems related to our progressively more toxic environment.  Many of my patients have had their natural physiological detox pathways overwhelmed by the excess body burden of increased natural toxins from industrial pollution.   In far worse shape are those who are overwhelmed from toxins that are so new that we have yet to build natural detox mechanisms for their removal.  A good example, pthalates or plasticizers can be found in every animal tissue on earth and plastics didn’t even exist when I was a boy.  The average baby in our country is born with over 200 toxic chemicals in its body, more than 180 of which are absolute carcinogens according to government research reported in Environmental Health Perspectives.   Many of my colleagues have learned to rely on the far infra red sauna as a major detox tool in this battle against a poisoned world and so have I.  I believe that within thirty or forty years most families will own a far infra red sauna out of necessity.  Sunlight Sauna’s quality, reasonable price, and convenient showroom location make it a logical choice for the people of the greater Kansas City area.
